We made our annual trip to the tulip festival one day after the kids got out of school. I think McKay was the one who loved it the most. He was SO excited to get out of the house and to be outside where he could just walk around. Hibernation is hard on all of us. This also is his first spring/summer being able to walk around. I know it has opened up a whole new world to him! Grandma rented a golf cart and it is always so much fun to be able to drive through the gardens and not have to walk. The kids of course love it!
We fed the fish, we ran through the tulip maze, danced around under the trellis, we took a trip to the waterfall and of course rolled down the big hills. It was a perfect afternoon.
This was the best picture we could get of all of the grand kids with Grandma. Of course the lighting was horrible and it is really hard to get everyone to stay in one place and actually look at the camera!
