We invited our friends the Fountaines over to decorate eggs with us and have a little Easter FHE with us. We actually had a Founy/Ford weekend. We saw each other for soccer games on Saturday, they came over for breakfast and conference on Sunday, and FHE on Monday. Cami said it best... It was like old times when we were neighbors! The kids were super excited to dye eggs, they had lots of fun coming up with different combinations. Sadly the glitter/sparkly kit we bought was a total bust. But the kids didn't seem to mind.
We also made birds nest cookies. I think they turned out super cute and the kids loved them. Although there was definitely more "frosting eating" than decorating.
James was also nice enough to fill in and give us a quick lesson about Easter. The kids of course paid attention for EVERY minute of it.
The kids loved it, had a great night and loved seeing their best friends all weekend. The adults can't complain about the god time either!
