Carson was able to participate in a competitive basketball league this year and really enjoyed it. The team was made up of mostly all older kids than Carson. They also were playing in a 4th grade league so the kids they were playing were quite a bit bigger and taller than him.
It was definitely a big jump up for Carson from what he has been playing with Jr. Jazz. But I am really proud of him for going out there and trying as hard as he can. He definitely learned a lot more about the game of basketball and learned how to play certain types of defense and how to use plays in the games.
He had a lot of fun playing with his friends and grew a lot during the season. The team had a lot of fun and the coaches were fabulous with the boys. The team made it to the tournament and won the first game but lost our second. It was a great season and a lot of fun to watch the boys and Carson play!
