We did not have any plans to go anywhere during spring break this year. So we decided to fill the week with fun activities around here. It worked out really well to stay here and we found plenty to do to fill our time!
Day one, a day at home playing with friends. Grandma came to pick them up in the afternoon and took them up to Aunt Heather's for a sleep over! They had dinner, jumped on the tramp, went to the splash park and had a movie night. They of course loved every minute of it!
Day two a trip to the Zoo with the Smith Cousin's and Grandma!
Day 3 (part 1) dinosaur museum with friends at Thanksgiving Point, and then a picnic at the park and lots of sunshine! Brynnley took her friend Ivy and Carson took Dylan. They had so much fun together and we had such a fun morning. Despite Brynn's friend Ivy passing out on me! Just added to the adventure of the day!
Day 3 (part 2) Dinner and bowling with friends the Founy's! Good friend for all ages! Super fun late night!
Day 4 McKay and I spent most of the day at Primary's in the same day surgery getting a sedated eye exam. Then trying to calm McKay down after he woke up "possessed" after sedation. A friend was nice enough to have Carson and Brynn over and take them with their family to a preview of the Thanksgiving Point museum. I still consider it a successful Spring break day!
Day 5 was a visit to Lakepoint to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Jordan. A picnic in the park and ice cream afterwards. An afternoon movie of Rio 2 with the Grandma and Grandpa Ford and the Smith family and dinner afterwards at the Gateway.
Day 6 last day of spring break. Spent most of the day getting stuff done at the house and doing some yard work. But we promised the kids a trip to waffle luv to have their first waffle luv experience. Yum!
It was such a fun week and full of lots of fun, friends and family!
