I mistakenly said "let's go it's time for "bread" (Instead of bed), of course everyone thought it was hilarious and went running to get bread. Love my humorous family!
Almost nine years later and they still love to fall asleep net to each other. Father and son. Sadly what we thought was a Saturday nap turned into Carson getting a fever of 103. Boo.
In Carson's class they have done a couple of "Reader's theatre's". They get a script and get to try out for parts in the short play. They get on costumes and then they read the play for all of the parents. Carson loves it, maybe we have an actor in the making. He of course loves to try out for the parts that have the jokes and get the biggest laughs. Oh it was also crazy hair day if you can't tell.
We have enjoyed having the lizard Ziggy in our home. I will admit he was more work than I anticipated, but Carson really does loves his lizard. Here is a pic of his first really big shed, his entire body! Kind of gross and fascinating all at the same time!
A trip to the farm with Grandma Randall! The kids loved every minute of it. No matter how many times we go we still all love the farm!
Kyle is on his second round of being called to be the cub scout master. While it is not his favorite calling he is really good at it. For this pack meeting he did a lesson about faith and showed the boys how your faith can "grow". Of course the boys thought it was awesome!
Carson has been loving scouts! After getting a little tutorial from my sister, we have been working hard on getting everything done that he needs to at home. (I thought they did it all at scouts). He finally earned his bobcat and his wolf and a bunch of belt loops! We are proud of him!
Re post from Instagram-Today my heart is very full for this kid. he had a readers performance in his classroom today and di awesome with his part. But I took McKay with me to his classroom for the performance. Before I took McKay to the school I was overcome with nervousness for Carson. I knew it would be the first time the kids in Carson's class would meet McKay, in his wheelchair, glued into the I pad. I asked him after school about it and he was totally calm and cool about it. He said most of the kids in his class had questions for him about McKay. He said "it was easy I just answered all of the questions no problem." My heart was so proud of his sweet spirit and for not making a big deal of it.
