Happy Holidays! We hope this year finds you happy and healthy!
The year of 2010 has definitely been very eventful for our family. We started off the year with a trip to Disneyland. As usual the kids loved every minute of it and it was a wonderful Disney vacation.
Just a few weeks after that trip our baby boy McKay decided to make an early entrance (We were lucky he wasn’t born at Disneyland!) He was born at 33 ½ weeks. He had a pretty rough start and was in the NICU for 7 ½ weeks. He was born with a list of complications. Some complications have since been resolved, but we have added new ones to the list. We are realizing now more than ever, after countless doctors and specialist appointments that he is one of a kind! We are beyond grateful that he is in our family. He has brought us all closer together and has shown us what true love is. He is now 10 months and is a sweet, very calm and easy going baby. We realize he may have a long road ahead of him, but we are so happy to have him in our lives.
Carson is our very social and energetic 5 ½ year old. I envy his energy and love of life. He is in Pre School this year and loves every minute of it. He has made lots of friends and is learning so much. He also has been enjoying soccer this year. He is on a team with 3 of his friends and loves going to his games and scoring goals. He also has been very into Superheroes. He has also followed in his father’s footsteps and has found a love for football. He loves to cheer on the Ohio State Buckeye’s and the Utah Utes. He also loves playing with his sister, and making his little brother laugh.
Brynnley is 2 almost 3 and is full of life. She has us laughing one minute, and extremely frustrated the next. She constantly keeps us on our toes and makes life interesting. Brynnley loves books, Princess’s, and playing babies. She also started Gymnastics this year and loves it! She comes home and shows us how to swing like a monkey.
Kyle has had an eventful year as well. He has had 2 major surgeries this year and 2 other Emergency room visits as well. Hopefully all the medical issues are in the past for him. He also turned 30 this year! We celebrated with a big party with lots of friends and family. Business has been going very well for him and his parents. We are truly blessed he has such a wonderful job that he enjoys and is exceptionally good at.
My days are filled with doctor appointments, therapies, running to and from school, and as much Mommy time as possible. I love every minute I have with my kids. They bring more joy to my life than I ever thought possible.
This year has been very trying for us but we are thankful for it. It has brought us all closer together as a family. We have been shown so much love from all of our friends and family.
We hope that this letter finds you well during this glorious time of the year!
Love,
The Fords

Loved it! I hurried and spoke for the 2011 calendar with cute McKay's picture on it, before Dad knew what had happened :)
