All of the Kindergartner classes at Ridgeline participate in a patriotic program and then a Kindy 500.
The patriotic program was so cute and the teachers had done such a good job getting all of those kids to memorize so many songs. Brynn was so excited to dress up in Red, white and blue and of course wanted her hair to look extra special.
All the kids sang so well and knew all of the words to the songs.
After the program all of the kids get their cardboard box cars that they made at home and take them on a parade. You know I love ANY parade of any kind, but this was so cute! I loved seeing all of the kids in their cars. Some cars were for sure a lot fancier than others., thankfully Brynn loved her car that was inspired by the car on Wreck it ralph. We kept it on the pretty simple side.
After the parent parade they then take their cars and "drive" around the country to national monuments. They learned about the monuments and about historical American figures. Such a cute idea! Brynn loved the whole day and couldn't stop talking about it!
