Happy Easter

We had a great low key Easter this year. The kids woke up in the morning to find their Easter baskets, Carson just kept asking if the Easter bunny had come. They were very excited to find their baskets. Carson was thrilled with his new book, Planet 51, and of course some new Bakgun guys (He is obsessed!)

Brynnley got Alice and Wonderland, a new book and a new Cinderella dress. (Yes she got one for her birthday. Mom didn't notice it was covered in glitter that comes off when she bought it. It has been banished to the basement as a costume! Too much glitter clean up!)McKay got a new outfit and a new toy, you can tell he is overcome with excitement!

We went up to the Ford's for our usual pre conference delicious breakfast. We watched the morning session of conference (well as much as you can watch with three kids running around). McKay had his first excursion out to Grandma and Grandpa's house. He did great! He said hello to everyone when he got there, ate and then conked out on Grandma and Grandpas bed for a few hours.

After the morning session we had an Easter egg hunt. Because of the Easter snow on the ground we did it in the basement. Carson was so excited! He has been asking all week when it's time for the Easter egg hunt. I helped Brynnley find her eggs, she was more concerned with all the chocolate that was inside the eggs!
Here is Carson checking out his "loot" and finding all of his "money's". It was a great day! It was nice to be able to get out of the house for a little bit and visit with all of the Ford fam!
