Grandparents Day

Our kids are truly blessed to have such wonderful Grandparents. They show so much love and are great examples to them. I love being able to tell them at least once a year thank you for ALL that they do for our family. It's not a secret that our lives have changed drastically in the past year and a half. We could not have adjusted so well and survived all of the crazy situations with out the help of our parents.
Each year the kids help me make a small gift for the Grandparents. This year we painted and stamped frames. The kids picked the color of paint and helped stamp them. They had so much fun doing it. We made one for each Grandma and Grandpa so they could each have their own.
We also had  yummy dinner, the kids loved having both sets of Grandparents there for dinner.
I am so grateful to Kyle's parents and my parents for their unconditional love and support. Word's can't even express how much I appreciate all that they do for us. (It's A LOT of babysitting, and much much more!) Thank you for being there for us, thank you for always wanting to play with your grandchildren, thanks for coming to the countless sports games and gymnastics meets! We love you so much!

On a side note, these Grandparents above (My parents) got their third mission call today. They are going to the Sierra Leon mission in Africa and will be leaving in January. They are so excited and we are excited for their new adventure! I LOVE the pic, love McKay's face!

What a sweet post! It brought tears to my eyes (you knew it would). How we will miss these little ones. We'll send all the love we can across the miles from Africa. Thank you for always remembering us on Grandparents Day.
