We went to the Zoo last week because it was such a beautiful day (plus my membership expires soon!) Although I think the rest of the state of Utah had the same idea as us, it was packed! But luckily the zoo is big enough it isn't a huge deal. We went with Grandma Ford and Aunt Heather and Sadie. Carson was in heaven because Grandma was there and he could show her all around. He was also very excited to ride the carousel. Brynnley also loves the carousel, she gets so excited and just smiles the whole time!
We also got to ride the train. Brynnley was not a fan. We sat in the front and it was very loud. But Carson of course loved it, especially going through the tunnel!
Brynnley was getting a little restless so Grandma gave her her churro. Of course Brynnley was in heaven and thought it was the best thing in the world. However she was one big sugar mess when she was done!
This is what Grandmas are for! Carousel and Train rides, and large churros!

How fun is that! Go, "Buzz Train Grandma"! You're the best! What a fun day for all! How I wish you could bring the children here to Kenya. We have a giant "zoo" here. We saw scores of zebras, impalas, elands, cape buffalo, giraffes, some warthogs, and even five lions in their natural habit. One lion walked across the road right behind our truck! We'll send pictures--the next best thing.
Looks like so much fun. It has been quite awhile since I've been to the zoo. Where is the carousel? Am I just forgetting it or is it new?
