Brynn has been talking about her birthday for probably the last 9 months. She always asks when it is her birthday and how much longer until her birthday. About 6 months ago she told me she wanted a hamburger/My little pony party. Luckily that didn't stay... So in true fashion we had to go all out. She woke up to balloons on her floor and streamers on her door. She said she loved her "curtain".
She looks so big (the measuring board is not hung to the right measurements, so she really isn't that tall) But we have to get our yearly pic.
Last year we started the tradition of birthday balloons. There are as many balloons hung as many years old that you are. The kids get to pop them to find a dollar bill in each balloon. Brynn loved it!
Kelli was nice enough to watch McKay for me so Brynn and I could go do something fun while Carson was at school. She chose the dinosaur museum. It was a lot of fun to spend some time with just her. We went and got ice cream afterward, yum!
After picking up Carson from school we decided to head to the park. It was a beautiful day and my kids have been dying to go outside. The kids had so much fun and it felt so good to get out. Carson ran around on his scooter and made friends faster than I could keep track of. Brynn rode her trike and played at the park. McKay loved his new trike and kicked his legs the whole time. He also went down the slide a few times with Brynn, they both loved it.
That night Brynn requested Fettuchini for dinner. So we had Fettuchini and opened presents. She is an awesome present opener... fabulous excited reactions and she literally rips from one to the other. She got a princess bath set, a Cinderella bath baby, a ballet outfit for her Bell princess and me doll, a new book and leotard from Carson and McKay, Disney headbandz from Grandma and Grandpa. She also got a brand new super cute pink bike from Grandpa and Grandma Ford. But of course my camera died as soon as she opened it. So pictures soon to come, as soon as I get them from them.
I think she had a fabulous birthday and felt special all day long!

What a fun day! So many fun traditions! I love the pictures at the park--everyone is going to get spring fever. Brynnley is looking more and more grown up. It looks like McKay is loving the tricyle--what fun!
