Happy 8th Birthday to this kid! To say he was excited for his birthday would be a huge understatement! He starts talking about it after Christmas! He woke up to balloons all over his floor and streamers on his door. He also got to pop his birthday balloon with a dollar inside each one for each year old that he is. One of my kids favorite things!
It will come as no shock that Carson chose Crepes for breakfast on his birthday. One of his all time favorite meals. We opened his presents after breakfast so he could play with some of them. He got a toys r us gift card from Great Grandma and Grandpa Ford, always a HUGE hit at our house! Grandma and Grandpa Ford got him Skylander's Giants, some books and a movie. His big gift from us was a new bike! He has needed one for a while and he kind of lost his confidence with bike riding. But he was very excited to get a new bike, and is cruising the streets on his bike now! We also got him a new game, a nerf gun and few other things.
For his Birthday party he chose to do a giant slip and slide party. We have been to one before and I talked Carson into doing one for his birthday. I knew he would have so much fun with ALL of his friends on the slip in slide. It was a huge hit and they all loved it!
The adults also joined in on the fun of course!
We had pizza watermelon and drinks for dinner. The kids took a quick break to eat and open presents and then everyone was begging to go back on the slide. Some of the boys also had fun playing tag in the huge park field and playing Frisbee.
He got lots of fun presents from his friends. He also go 30 one dollar bills from Great Grandpa Hubbard, one of his favorite things as well. Grandma and Grandpa Randall got him all of his scout stuff for Cub scouts. Carson is really excited to start in Cub scouts!
It was a really fun party filled with lots and lots of fun and friends! Happy Birthday Carson!
