Happy Birthday Carson!

My baby boy turned 4 this week! I still can't believe it, where did the time go! Carson has been so excited for his birthday for months. He usually asks at least once a week if it is his birthday yet!
He woke up Monday morning and first thing we did was measure him. He is now 40 1/2 inches (tall enough for the rides at Disney!). That is the 53rd percentile. He also weighs 38 lbs which is 60th percentile.
We had doughnuts for breakfast, Carson's absolute favorite!

We went with some of his friend to the splash pad up in Herriman for lunch. We stopped and got some Kneaders for lunch and had a picnic up there. Carson loves the "sprinkler park" he just runs from squirting water to water and then takes a turn on the regular park. Brynnley was still a little water shy so she just walked the perimeter of the splash park a few dozen times.
After naps Kyle's parents came over and we opened presents from us. Carson's big present was a new bike. I will admit I was slightly disappointed when he was not beyond excited for it. He walked out the door and said "I thought it was going to be a Mario bike." He said he wanted a Mario bike, but no such luck. But he was pretty happy to see that it was a green bike. He is still trying to figure out how to get use to it.
Afterwards Carson picked what he wanted to do that night. We gave him lots of options but he decided on Boondocks. He told me he needed to beat his high score at golf and get it in the iguanas mouth. We went mini golfing, rode the bumper water boats, road the cars, played games and had dinner there. It was a lot of fun and Carson was on cloud nine the whole time!It was a great day and I think we crammed in as much fun stuff as possible for one little kid! Stay tuned for his birthday party!
