Pumpkin picking

 One of my favorite fall activities is heading to the pumpkin patch. It reminds me of growing up and working in our own pumpkin patch. At the time I of course hated the early morning weeding. But I can now look back at it with fond memories.

 We went to the same pumpkin patch we have been to the last couple of years. I love that the kids can go out in the giant patch and pick their own pumpkin. Carson of course looked for the longest to find the largest pumpkin ever. He did find a huge one, and Brynn found a big one with a giant stem! We picked a few gourds for our table, but not the usual haul we make for our front porch. The kids had a lot of fun and we can't wait to carve our pumpkins!
