We took the Monday before Easter to do all of our Easter fun festivities. We made Easter sugar cookies and the kids helped frost and decorate them. Do you think McKay was happy to be in front of a pile of cookies? He was grabbing them as fast as he could before we realized what he was doing.
Since Kyle and I are doing an 8 week healthy living challenge we didn't want too many of the cookies left here. (In our challenge we can only eat sweets one day a week) So we took a few plates to the neighbors and the bishop. The loved the creativity!
We also dyed our eggs. The kids love it every year, one of these years I will get adventurous and buy the kits that are more than just the colors. But for now they are content with just the colors. We always love seeing the different colors you can get and the different combos.
We had a great night and a lot of fun! Happy Easter!
The Friday before Easter I sent Carson with an Easter lunch. He loved the goldfish, grapes, and reeses eggs inside of the eggs for his lunch!
