Animal Exhibition

 Carson had to create a animal diorama for school this year. They had to pick an animal from Utah and then look up more information about the animal. Then they had to create a shoebox diorama.
Carson picked a Rattlesnake. He was so excited to look up all of the information about the Rattlesnake, some of which he knew.
We also created a fabulous diorama. We collected a lot of things from outside to put inside of his box. Luckily Grandma Ford had lots of fabulous things to use for his project too.
He really wanted to add a snail shell to his project. He and Brynnley have been collecting snail shells and rocks. For some reason Grandma and Grandpa have a huge amount of snail shells on one side of their house so the kids are happy to come outside and help with yard work to look for snail shells.

 The only major downfall was Carson was really sick on the day they were suppose to present their animal projects. He was so sad that morning when we told him he wouldn't be able to go to school that day. All the other kids were presenting their projects then the parents were invited to come in and look at all of them. Poor guy.
So we made sure he showed everyone that came to the house is diorama. He took it to school on Monday and still got to show it to his class. But the other kids had all taken theirs home, so he missed seeing everyone else.

He did a great job with his project, I quickly realized I need to get my game on for future projects. I have not gotten in the "school projects" mindset yet. My mom was always so good and so creative with them, so hopefully I have inherited that!
