Freedom

Our doctor gave us the go ahead to leave our "hibernation" at the beginning of May. We ALL have been patiently waiting for this day. The kids have been so patient. They get a little sad when we can't go inside McDonald's, or we can't just stop in at the Library, we can't all go out to a restaurant. They have been incredibly understanding and try not to complain about it. So we decided that we would take the first Monday we could go out and have a really fun time together as a family. We invited the Ford's to come along with us.
We picked up some KFC and took it to a fabulous park in Alpine. The kids had so much fun playing at the park and playing football with Daddy and Grandpa.

Grandpa also gave us just a short lesson about making good choices, something we are constantly working on with the kids. After the park we headed to our kids favorite spot, Orange Leaf. The kids love being able to pick as many flavors as they want and load the frozen yogurt with lots of candy and treats.
It felt so nice to all be out together and have such a nice time. I can't wait for the summer where we can have LOTS AND LOT AND LOTS of more fun outings.
