The Polar Express

We took the kids on the Polar Express this year up in Heber and it was so much fun! We invited both sets of Grandparents to come with us (Sadly my parents couldn't make it as I didn't coordinate plans very well and they were on their cruise when we went) But Grandma and Grandpa Ford came with us and we all loved it!

All of us on the train!
Carson kept asking when he was getting his hot chocolate and cookies. But as soon as the hot chocolate came he said he didn't want it and wanted cookies. He ate two cookies though, thanks Grandpa for sharing!
Carson kept asking when Santa was coming, he asked about every 5 minutes. We got up to the North Pole and he was so excited to see him and was waving. As soon as he made it to our train, Carson screamed and this is what he looked like when Santa made his way towards him.
Brynnley was fine and went right to Santa, she LOVED the bell that she got from him too. I think it was her favorite part!
Carson actually ended up doing okay once Santa got to him. He still didn't want to go near him, but he gave Santa 5 and was excited about his bell. He took extra careful of his bell, he told us "Don't drop it, be extra careful! As soon as we got home Grandma helped him tie it on the Christmas tree

It was a lot of fun and a great to spend time together as the family! We had a lot of fun with the Fords and Carson was super excited to have them on the train ride with them. My favorite part was just watching our kids faces, they got so excited and had so much fun. I think Kyle enjoyed that to, but I think his favorite part was the high school kid that decided now would be a good time to try out for American Idol as he proceeded to sing Christmas carols into the microphone, good times!

That looks like so much fun! I'm glad the kids did good with Santa. Ava is constantly asking for him, but is scared to death of him! I'm sure they had a blast with grandma and grandpa. :)

The Polar Express is great. Our boys loved it the years we went. Haven't been in a few years (kind of loses it's luster after two years in a row). Glad your kids had fun!
