C-Cowabunga dude!

We had our yearly trip to Cowabunga Bay last week. We decided to wait to go until August in hopes that it would be hot, and the freezing cold slides would not feel as bad. It was scorching hot, but the water on the slides was still freezing cold. My kids love Cowbaunga bay and every time we drive by they watch for the bucket to drop and ask when we are going.
We were lucky enough to get everyone there. The girls went first with the kids, but we were very happy when the dad's and Grandpa's came to our rescue to help with all of the kids.
McKay is obsessed with his Grandpa lately, especially anytime he is in the water. Grandma told him that Grandpa was coming to swim with him and he just started kicking his legs with excitement. He pretty much did not let go of him the whole time. What great swim buddies!

We found a great deal for Cowabunga but it was a birthday deal. So we were going to re-celebrate Carson's birthday since it was the closest just for fun. But of course Grandma decided it would be more to have a birthday party for all of the Grandkids. She bought each of them a bag filled with some fun toys and clothes. She also made yummy homemade banana cupcakes! Here is Carson with his Beyblade, this is his current obsession. He was so excited to get a new one.

We had so much fun and the kids loved it, I still wish the slides were not so cold, but it still is a lot of fun! Thanks for the fun day Ford Fam!

What a fun family activity! Too bad the water was so cold. "Happy Birthday!" to all!
