McKay at 18 months

Wow! Really? 18 months for my baby boy! I can't believe it! McKay is my little man and I love that he loves to snuggle with me and always wants me to hold him (I will admit, he is getting hefty though!)
He still is our super easy going (if he is at home). He can entertain himself pretty well and rarely cries. He does have a harder time when we are out or at someone else house. I think he has a little anxiety when it comes to leaving his comfort zone of home. He is army crawling like crazy and is very good at it, I think he should give techniques to the real army men. He is getting more vocal and I love it. He will finally kind of have a conversation back and forth with the sound "Ha", he did it to the doctor while we were there and he said he was so happy he felt like he was finally communicating with him. He loves his Daddy and his face lights up as soon as he sees him. He loves when Daddy tickles him. McKay also loves to play with his brother and sister, he always wants to be where they are. They are so good about playing with him, and making sure he has his favorite toys.
We are still working tirelessly on new foods and getting passed the baby foods (although in talking to the doctor about it, it sounds like it will be a while.) He loves anything in purred form, especially any kind of fruit. His two favorite no fail foods are Pirates Booty and Graham Crackers.
The doctor was happy with where he is at in all areas, he is definitely developmentally behind but we already knew that. He is making progress and that is all that matters. He has made huge strides this summer and that makes me so happy (I am sure it is because he has been so healthy). We have a lot of specialist visits this month so hopefully they will be helpful and informative!

Stats:
Weight: 27.05 lbs 66th percentile (Yeah, he has never been over the 50th!)
Height:31 inches 15th percentile (Also up from his previous 5th percentile)
Head: Grew a lot in three months, both the doctor and I were pretty discouraged. Sad news is his soft spot is still open which is very unusual for a 18 month old baby, which means it is not done growing. But when I told Kyle he said "Who cares, there is nothing at all we can do about his head growing." Which is so true, there is nothing we can do to slow it down. So I shouldn't worry about it unless we need to medically!
