We decided to do Christmas with the Randall family the weekend before Christmas so we could avoid the craziness and make sure that we all go together. All of the family was able to go down to my parents house in Fairview and spend the night. We were ALL together, which is pretty amazing for us these days! We had a yummy dinner of the Randall favorite crock pot pork chops. After dinner the kids opened up stockings from Grandma and Grandpa Randall and matching PJ pants. They all loved them! We then had a short Christmas program together.
We also celebrated my brother's birthday since it is two days before Christmas. He requested a globe cake and of course my sister and her husband came through!
The next morning we woke up and had a yummy breakfast and then opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa Randall. Somehow I didn't get any pictures of this! But the kids loved all of the presents they got. Each family got some snow toys so the kids were super anxious to go out and try them out. It was a perfectly snowy December morning! the kids rode the sleds, snowmobiles, and played with their snow toys.
We all had a quick lunch and then headed home before it got to dark.
It was so much fun being together with my entire family and all being in one place at one. The kids loved having so much fun with their cousins and their Grandma and Grandpa Randall. It was the perfect Randall family Christmas!
