Once we pulled into the Disney everyone was so excited we could barely handle it. For me there literally is a Disney magic and it makes me so happy, excited and emotional when we get there! After checking into our hotel rooms we headed to Down town Disney to have dinner at Rainforest Cafe.
Our family bought 5 day park hopper passes and we did the Disney parks every day and we did them hard! Kyle had a goal of getting on every single ride at least once. Sadly he was not able to do that, kind of hard with a big group and lots of kids (one being special needs). We floated between California Adventure and Disneyland on most days.
We were also excited that David's parents were able to join us about half way through the week. The kids immediately warmed up to Great Grandma and Grandpa Ford. It was a lot of fun to have them there, hopefully we didn't wear them out to much!
It was such an amazing trip. We all had such a good time and really didn't have any major problems. A few of us got a little bit of the stomach flu while we were there but thankfully none of the kids got it while we were there. We are so grateful to the Ford's for all of the planning and preparation they did for this trip for our family. We love Disneyland and were so happy to have the fun trip with the entire Ford family.
Sadly the drive home was pretty rough and very wintery. We had to stop in St. George unlike we had planned because the roads were so bad. We found a hotel and took the kids to the movie Frozen and enjoyed some Panda Express all squished in our hotel room. We had a wonderful time but I think we were all a little happy to be back home at the end of the trip!
I love the memories that are made while we are at Disneyland. Yes it can be stressful and loud and exhausting, but some of our best family memories are made together there. That is why we are Disney lovers for life!
